How the time bank balance is calculated
For each day with both a clock-in and clock-out time, the tool subtracts the lunch break (if filled in) and compares the result to your expected daily hours. The weekly balance is the sum of every day's difference — positive means credit hours, negative means a deficit.

Frequently asked questions
Do I need to fill in the lunch break fields?
No, leave them empty if you don't take a lunch break that day; the tool will use only clock-in and clock-out.
What happens with an overnight shift?
If the clock-out time is earlier than clock-in, the calculator assumes the shift crosses midnight and adds a full day.
Can I use this for a bi-weekly or monthly period?
This calculator covers one week at a time; for longer periods, add up several weekly totals.
