Frequently asked questions
Does it support negative numbers?
No, this converter handles non-negative integers only.
Why does hexadecimal use letters?
Hexadecimal is base 16, so it needs 16 distinct digits: 0-9 followed by A-F to represent values 10 through 15.
Is there a maximum size for the number?
Very large numbers may lose precision due to floating point limits in JavaScript; for everyday use this is not a practical concern.
